PRESS RELEASE:
The Beach Goes Pops Committee is happy to announce the dates for this years Beach Goes Pops to be
held on Friday, April 29
th
and Saturday, April 30
th
, 2011 in historic and picturesque Pass-A-Grille, Florida.
Beach Goes Pops, now in its 21
st
year, is very proud to offer yet another exciting year of outstanding music,
food and fellowship as we also celebrate and recognize the 100
th
Anniversary of Pass-A-Grille, Florida. 
We are very excited and honored that Charlie Crist, former Governor of Florida, will be our Guest of Honor
and Master of Ceremonies.  The Beach Goes Pops is the result of the combined efforts of The City of St.
Pete Beach, the Pass-A-Grille Community & Vina Del Mar Island Associations and the 150 plus volunteers
who coordinate and help to produce FREE CONCERTS on beautiful and historic Pass-A-Grille Beach in St.
Pete Beach, FL.   We especially appreciate and thank our major sponsors this year, the "City of St. Pete
Beach", "Wind, Water and Energy Conservation", "The Island Reporter" and "Dick Norris Buick GMC".   Be

On Friday, April 29th, we welcome three outstanding performing bands for your musical entertainment. 
Starting at 4:00pm, we'll have live music, food and beverages till 10:30 pm. 
 An ideal beachfront location in Pass-A-Grille Beach at 9th Avenue and Gulf Way in St. Pete Beach.
 Bring your blankets and beach chairs.
 Food vendors and beverages (soft drinks, beer & wine) are available to the public.
 Food and beverage booths open at 4:00 pm.
 Live music starts at 4:00 pm with the Charlie Morris Band.
 We are extremely pleased to welcome Hip Abduction to the Pavilion stage starting at 5:00 pm.
 The Venturas, a returning crowd favorite, and our headline band, will play from 8:00 pm till 10:30 pm.
 Shuttle service will be available from 4:00 pm till 11:00 pm at the County Beach Park across from the
Dolphin Village Shopping Center at 4600 Gulf Boulevard.
 "Art in the Park" returns again this year with local artists selling artwork and crafts.  New this year will be
a variety of children's activities and games in Pass-A-Grille Park.
 This is an all age, family friendly, fun, free afternoon and evening of great music.
On Saturday, April 30th, we'll also have three performing bands starting at 4:00 pm with music, food and
beverages till 10:00 pm.  We are proud to welcome back Robert Romanski, music director and conductor of
the Beach Goes Pops Orchestra, with Orchestra music starting at 7:30 pm and continuing till 10:00 pm.

·     30 + stage side tables sold in advance for Saturday's catered dinner by Wayl of a Time Catering.

 The tables and seats sold are directly in front of stage for the Saturday evening performance which
includes a fabulous catered four-course gourmet dinner with unlimited beer, wine and champagne.
 Saxophonist Jeff Zavac will entertain dinner guests starting at 5:30 pm till 6:30pm. 

· The Beach Goes Pops Orchestra starts at 7:30 pm and plays till 10:00 pm.

· Shuttle service will be available from 4:00 pm till 10:30 pm at the County Beach Park across from the

Dolphin Village Shopping Center at 4600 Gulf Boulevard.
