Happy Tuesday morning from a chilly but sunny Pennsylvania! Yes it seems FINALLY that spring may be right around the corner, and none too soon for this girl!

My  quandry for today is this. I w as taught a certain "formula" for leasing accessories and I think it makes sense, but I'm curious how other stagers are doing it. So tell me, tell me! And thank you in advance.

I hope wherever you are today you feel the rebirth of spring nipping at your heels!

What's your formula, because I don't have one.

I was taught when leasing accessories to charge 1/6 the retail cost to the total each month. If the retail total is $600 charge $100 per month. Get a deposit of half of the retail total.

Elizabeth -- it sounds like the formula you were taught is about the average % of what we've seen before.  However, you may want to charge your full amount in advance, each month, so that your rental charges are always paid and current.

Elizabeth, I use 15-20& of full retail.  You always have to take replacement value into account when figuring the percentage.  I tend to use 15% for higher priced items (furniture) and 20% for accessories.  Hope that helps.
