Indulge In Your Imagination - It's Time to be Irish!

Through the ages, the Irish have had a wild and vivid imagination that has lifted many people's spirits - just look at all the people when they go to the Irish Pubs to celebrate St. Patty's Day or local taverns in general! Oh, da spirits are alive and well! Oh, da green beer is soooo good! 'Tis a great thing to celebrate with Irish because all life's toils and troubles seem to disappear and turn into the realms of fairies, leprechauns, dragons, and other mythic heroes. So now is the time to indulge your wild Irish imagination. The Irish believe that a  flight of fantasy now and then provides a healthy balance to the daily grind.

Irish history is rich with folklore and tales that bring you joy such as finding that pot of gold under the rainbow! 'Tis a blessing to be Irish! Your imagination is apt to swell like puffy white clouds that looks like a dragon in the sky! Oh saints alive, it is fun to have a wild imagination! Land's sake, even the dragons are friendlier than usual! 'Tis the month to celebrate that spring is here, or nearly here, depending on where here is!

May you find Irish blessings in all you do. Celebrate this month using your eyes and indulging your senses on your imagination! May all your business transactions be good ones! May all your dreams come true! If you are buying or selling houses or commercial property, may all transactions come to fruition! May your joy be everlasting!

Celebrate! Life is too short! Life waits for no one! 'Tis a blessing to be Irish! May you find a pot of gold somewhere under the rainbow!

Hello Patricia and VB has always enjoyed St Patrick's day and when I lived in the Midwest we would always go to Downtown St Paul. Some of the Irish green beer and all the fun and parties ... I do miss those days ... your wonderful post of words about the Irish and "Patty's Day" have been featured at one of my favorite groups at AR ... love the photo;o)

Patricia, life is the real deal; not a dress rehearsal.  We need to live in the moment and celebrate life every day.  I'm not Irish, but I live an Irish-style life...... vicariously through my husband who is Irish.  Our trip to Ireland is by far one of our all time favorite vacations. The Irish people do know how to celebrate and embrace life.

Among the B&B's we stayed in, our favorite was in Galway.  Brita, the curator told us "you've got to slow down....now sit down, have a bit of carrot cake and cup-o-tea, then off with you to your room to take a nice nap....."

I believe in the luck of the Irish Patricia but I am still searching for the pot of gold. Next rainbow picture you post I am going to the end of it at that location and I will be set. Don't forget to wear your green March 17th.

Hello Patricia, I have frequent flights of fantasy or wanderings of the imagination...especially when there is plenty of beer around green or otherwise...I think there's a connection here.

Howdy and evening to you Patricia

Patricia, being 1/2 Irish from my mom's side, I sure do miss the Irish Celebrations that always took place back home. No mater the size of the Town, each of them had a St. Patrick's Day Parade. Which the Towns in my area here do not hold any kind of Celebrations for such a rich History Day of the year.

Have a good one

Vickie,

Living life vicariously through a lovable Irishman must give you lots of good old stories and laughs! Roll out the barrels, your life is anything but ordinary! The fact that you've been to Ireland is proof! Just like 85% proof good old Irish Whiskey! You're the real deal and you know that life is not a dress rehearsal!

I am so sorry to say I am GREEN with envy over your stay at the B&B in Galway! Dat curator gave you some good advice, "you've got to slow down....now sit down, have a bit of carrot cake and cup-o-tea, then off with you to your room to take a nice nap....."

Speaking of tea, I'm going to go boil me some hot water right now! Oh you must share your stories and life experiences about your trip to Ireland - Again, I am GREEN with envy and my ears are burning to hear all about it! Hear yea, hear yea, I want to hear all about it!

Dale,

No! No! No! You can't be just 1/2 Irish - you're either half empty or half full and something tells me you are FULL of good o'l Irish blood that's rich with wisdom, imagination and good cheer! I am so sorry that your Town does not celebrate St. Patty's Day but I would bet that if enough bloggers are out there and read this post, you and they can start a celebration together. I just know that people in NH like to eat, drink and be merry - so it CAN happen!

Keep your Irish herititage alive and well - mother would be PROUD of you!
