Homeowners concerned about falling behind on their mortgage are invited to foreclosure-prevention sessions offered this week by the Homeport Housing Advisory Center. Sessions will cover budgets, communication with lenders and alternatives to foreclosure.
The sessions will be offered from 9-11 A.M. and 1:30-3:30 P.M. Tuesday, and from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Thursday. Homeport, a division of the Columbus Housing Partnership, will also offer online courses from 5 to 6 P.M. Thursday. Classes will be held at Homeport's offices, 562 E Main Street in Columbus.
