With numerous auto shows, vintage races, exhibits and car events, Palm Springs remains a play ground for classic car enthusiasts. Quite often vintage vehicles and classic or exotic cars can be spotted cruising Palm Canyon Drive and many renowned car collectors call the Palm Springs area home. In fact, before his death in 2007 Robert Pond housed his famed classic car collection at his estate in South Palm Springs.

If you would like to join in and start a collection, add to your existing one, or maybe sell a vintage vehicle you already own, we have combined a list of three Palm Springs classic car dealers that have not only mastered the art of automobile marketing but know their product as well.

Exotic Motor Cars: Located at 4525 E. Ramon Road in Palm Springs, Exotic Motor Cars has been established at the same location for many years. Offering a large selection of both vintage and exotic vehicles, they also pride themselves on knowledgeable salesmen. Tourists and locals alike have always slowed down while driving by to admire the ever rotating display of classic cars in their small front parking lot. Exotic Motor Cars though has the largest indoor showroom of the three dealerships featured and they have a large covered lot as well. The understanding staff welcomes window shoppers and if you just want to be left alone to admire all the machinery you are more than welcome to do so.

One Eleven Vintage Cars: In the same location for 28 years, many Palm Springs residents have perused this classic car lot after the shop has closed for the evening. Withs such a large array of classic cars on a busy street an admirer of vintage autos will have a hard time just driving by. The inventory at One Eleven Vintage Cars includes exotic and restored vehicles but they also at times have non-restored fixer vehicles available at lower prices. Their mixed inventory of show ready classics and exotics mixed with daily drivers and TLC vehicles make them a good place to start for the entry level collector. One Eleven Vintage Cars is located at 335 E. Sunny Dunes Road at the corner of South Palm Canyon Drive.

McCormick's of Palm Springs: Better known for their bi-annual auto shows and car auctions, McCormick's of Palm Springs always supports an inventory of consignment cars as well. Located in the former Plaza Motors Cadillac Buick dealership at 244 N. Indian Canyon Drive in Palm Springs, McCormick's usually displays a large inventory of classic cars in a covered parking lot adjacent to their office. Prior to an auction event, their lot swells with vintage and classic car inventory so it is a great time to examine the offerings.

Palm Springs is certain to remain a favorite destination and home base for classic car collectors and their collections. The warm climate and abundance of automotive services make for fun classic car driving and if your automobile is a convertible then please put the top down and enjoy. With many classic car clubs and organizations it is easy to find friends with like minded ideas once you purchase your vehicle.
