The Platform at Culver Station

The Platform at Culver Station

A 50,000 Square Foot mixed use project, The Platform at Culver Station is going to be the first LEED Certified Campus in the Los Angeles Area. Slated to break ground this summer, the Platform will be ready for delivery in January of 2013. Located in the vibrant, growing, hot downtown Culver City market, this Project is within walking distance of the heart of downtown and the popular Hayden-Tract and will be steps away from the Expo Line Station that will stop in Culver City. Far different than your traditional mixed use complex, this Project will incorporate today’s digital form of marketing and will become Culver City’s most treasured development.

The Platform at Culver Station is a new retail and restaurant community located across the street from the first light rail station on the west side of Los Angeles.  The Platform is not a typical shopping center, it is a curated mix of brands and ideas located in what Travel and Leisure describes as “LA’s newest design destination,” Culver City.

Opening in the first quarter of 2013, The Platform will be a showcase for unique and creative companies and brands.  The Platform’s innovative in house marketing team will work with retailers to create the interconnected online and onsite experiences that define a truly modern brand experience and drive customer traffic.  Onsite events will include farmers and craft markets, concerts, and movie screenings in the courtyard.  These experiences will be complemented by a full range of online engagement including Facebook, Twitter, and FourSquare presence as well as the use of flash sales and location based loyalty programs.

Culver City is already home to well known companies and brands including: Sony Studios, Culver Studios, Fox Sports, NFL Network, Ogilvy and Mather, Symantec, Nike, Burke Williams, NPR, and Smashbox Studios.  Some of the most exciting concepts in Los Angeles have already committed to the project, including Seven Grand, Varnish, and Umami Burger.

The Platform has approximately 50,000 square feet of retail space that can be demised as small as 1,400 square feet, with up to 17,000 contiguous square feet available.  In addition, there is approximately 25,000 square feet of office and showroom space available.  There are 275 parking stalls on site and over 600 free long term parking stalls across the street at the light rail station.  The Platform is located ten minutes from Beverly Hills, Century City, Santa Monica, and Venice.  It is a fifteen minute light rail ride from USC and a twenty-five minute ride from Staples Center and LA Live in downtown.
