Help with Grubs!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with The Inner Iris Photography
Has anyone out there found a really effective anti-grub worm remedee? I treat them and they will keep coming back. I simply hate the idea of them being out there in my soil and chewing away on my plant roots. It is hard to keep small annuals alive for very long because they eat up their already limited roots so quickly. When I notice yellowing leaves and the need for frequent watering, I know that the poison is wearing off and that the grubs are back for lunch! Any suggestions are welcome.

Shellee - If you find something, let me know as well.  I dislike any pesky bugs.

Deborah- I absolutely agree with you about the compost and all, but the problem is when i compost things other than strait grass clippings and such I get a whole lot of unwanted possum, cat, and raccoon attention I would sooner not have! No kitchen scrap composting for this gal- my dogs wake me up at 3 in the morning to bark at the silly varmints attracted to the smells!
