HOOKS IN THE GARDENS
Aldridge Gardens has some fun planned especially for the kiddos! Boys and girls ages 4 to 15 are invited to come fish in the six-acre lake Monday through Friday during the Spring Break holidays (March 14-18). A pass to fish all five days is just $10, or you can purchase a daily pass for $5. Children and grandchildren of members get in free. Everyone must be accompanied by an adult. Some rods and reels will be available to check-out, but if you have your own you may want to bring them in case the demand is high.
Friday will be a big day with lots of prizes! 10 rods and reels will be given away AND a day of fishing with pro Lloyd Smith. Boats from Airport Marine will be on display and WZZK will be broadcasting live. There will also be fishing classes and one-on-one instruction throughout the day!
The fishing and fun starts each morning at 9 AM and lasts until 4 PM each day!
