Wordless Wednesday - No Way, After seeing this I'm now starving!

By
Real Estate Agent with Florida Supreme Realty SL514814

After coming across this picture while finishing a Visual Tour a little while ago, it reminded me I had not had any dinner.  At this hour I won't indulge with such a "heavy" meal but darn it looks so good.  Guess what tomorrow will bring?  Yeah, you guessed it, a Filet Mignon.  I do usually forego the potato side dishes these days but my favorite haunt on 3rd Street South, Handsome Harry's has a nice scalloped treat that compliments the cut very well.  I can already taste the lobster bisque appetizer.  Bon Appetit!

WOW that looks good. As late as it is I would eat that right now if it were in front of me.

Jane, mine won't be that pretty but it's taste is fabulous there.  A bit of the Cabernet to complete the dish too.  Can't go wrong at HH's!

Victor, when the knife hits it it'll pop.  Medium is how it's DONE for me, with a bit of bearnaise!

Nor, a 6 ouncer will be plenty to take the edge off.  I had calculated that over the years I've had about 730 filet mignons from HH's.  I don't need to ask "Where's the Beef?"

Samantha, it's so rich but never too salty there.  Best in Naples I'd say.  They also used to have a superb shrimp cocktail presentation with "dry" ice forming a wispy cloud around the colossal's (U/15).  It remains excellent for taste but loses out with the new look!  Grrrrrrrrrr!

Alexandra, it's also one of the few places with live music 7 days a week.  Sorry, I'll post earlier for you!

Jay, an ice cold draught and a frank with saurkraut and hot mustard would do it for me right now.  Otherwise known as a "Dog & Suds".

Truly a great presentation but I too rarely eat meat, once a year, but it does look good enough for even me...happy enjoying Kevin

Ginny, enjoy those legumes, I'm gonna have some nice aged beef today.

Tagrid, I only go there on days which end in "Y".  Just kidding, but Sunday is my "regular" day!

Sandy, I had thought about taking pics of yesterday's dish, but didn't.  I feel like Forrest Gump when I say "I had the lobster bisque, again".  The entree of Wahoo on a bed of creamed fresh spinach with a pureed squash was alive with color along with fresh bread and a garlic infused olive oil "dip", to drink, a dry Pinot Grigio complimented the meal.  Listening pleasure brought to you by Wendy, a favorite on Sundays after Open Housing.

Kevin, Forrest Gump - that was a great movie!  Now, you're talking my language - fresh fish and spinach (had it last night for dinner) and squash, fresh bread and the lobster bisque, yet again (LOL)  - delicious!   I'm not really much of a meat eater.  But, give me some fresh fish, any kind of seafood, chicken, turkey, certain types of pork - and I'm there.

Hope it was a productive open house!

Oh Sandy, you're so lucky when the whiting are plentiful in the surf.  So light and flaky, we don't see them here or at least I haven't.  About the pork, European Boars are good right?  Gimme bacon!

Ooooooh, it does look very tasty. I’m just the opposite of you, though. I’ll forgo the red meat and do with the potatoes.
