What does your Mailbox say about your Home?

11Along with having Great Curb Appeal, what is the very next thing most people will notice when they pull into someone's driveway?  The answer is the mailbox and strangely enough most people do not give much thought to their mailboxes at all.

A Mailbox is one of the First Impressions a Guest sees when they arrive at your home, so it is important to choose the perfect mailbox style that best reflects your style and needs, as well as the longevity of the mailbox.

If you are considering selling your house, take a moment and examine your mail box.  Is your mail box old and rusty?  Is it dented and peeling?  If so, this is the time to replace it and there is a wide variety to choose from.

1Home Owners can choose from Decorative to Traditional and from Themed to Novelty along with several contemporary styles and designs in a wide range of colors and materials.  Another important factor is to determine the security level you wish to have for the mailbox and Portability in case you want to take it with you.

One of my favorite "novelty" mailboxes- the one that stands about 10 feet off the ground and has the "Divorce Papers" signage.  My question, though, has always been this one:  "Is this person some sappy guy that's looking to hold onto his lady by playing the 'Didn't get the papers!' game?", or a lady that's looking to hold onto a particular way of life for as long as she can?  Either way, it makes you think.

Hi Kathy - These are very creative mailboxes.  In Canada, newer areas and properties use superboxes so they generally do not have individual mailboxes.
