Significant architecture makes The Del Marcos Hotel an integral part of the Palm Springs mid-century modern hotel landscape. Designed by William Cody in 1947, The Del Marcos was his first project after having worked for Cliff May. Cody moved to Palm Springs for the project and designed many other Palm Springs area projects including The El Dorado Country Club and the conversion of The Thunderbird Dude Ranch to The Thunderbird Country Club.
The Del Marcos Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the historic hotel and shopping district of Palm Springs. With only 17 rooms, the emphasis of this mid century modern gem is guest experience. With Mt. San Jacinto as a backdrop, The Del Marcos offers guests a convenient location to downtown Palm Springs where it is possible to rent bicycles, tour museums, visit vintage and mid-century modern furniture stores and resale shops plus there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and coffee houses.

Amenities at The Del Marcos Hotel include a full concierge service, complimentary breakfast, high speed internet, refrigerators in every room (some rooms boast kitchenettes) and a heated salt water pool. The Del Marcos can also create a wedding package where the ceremony and reception are held on the hotel grounds. They can also help arrange all or part of the wedding event.
Pets are also welcome at The Del Marcos and guests are encouraged to bring their dogs. In fact, your puppy will be welcomed with treats and water dish. Hiking trails and dog walking paths are close to the hotel grounds. Please contact the hotel for more information regarding the pet policy.
The Del Marcos Hotel is located at 225 West Baristo Road in Palm Springs and can be reached at (800) 676-1214. The front desk is open 24 hours a day.
