If you are planning to visit Columbia, TN for the annual Mule Day celebration I hope you’ve already made hotel arrangements. It’s fun to see literally thousands of people come to Maury County, Tennessee who are excited over…yes… MULES!
This multi-day (March 31 – April 3) festival is the largest annual celebration in the county. There are multiple events taking places in different locations in this Tennessee city such as live music, arts & crafts and flea market, Mule Pulling, Gaited Mules, Draft Mule Show, and a Mule Day Parade. It will be four fun filled days of everything Mule! If you are lucky, you’ll even get to meet the 2011 Mule Day Queen.
You never know who you’ll see at this event. In 2010, Larry the Cable Guy even visited Mule Day. It’s not uncommon to see country music stars or Nascar drivers mingling with other festival goers.
I f you have never been to Mule Days, you should make plans to come. If I can answer any questions about the area, give me a call. I’m always ready to help with real estate needs.
