The Arlington Home Show Expo is another sign that Spring is coming!
Local businesses are getting ready to exhibit at the second annual Arlington Home Show Expo sponsored by RE/MAX Leading Edge in the Arlington Town Hall March 19th. RE/MAX Leading Edge has assembled quite a diverse array of vendors. This is an opportunity to shop locally. Attendees will have a chance to learn from experts in home remodeling, home decor and other home services. "The response of providers of goods and services in the Arlington area has been great and we know more and more consumers are anxious to support local companies when possible", reported Paul Mydelski, owner of RE/MAX Leading Edge. A partial list of exhibitors include kitchen designers, architects, landscape designers, home improvement specialists, media consultants and providers of many other goods and services. The show will also provide information for consumers looking to live a more green lifestyle. What a great way to spend the Saturday before the beginning of spring!
"We believe that a healthy local economy is a factor in helping maintain property values in a community", commented Mydelski. With that in mind the event was born. Consumers should also note that for every $100 spent locally, $68 returns to the community through taxes, payroll and other expenditures. If a consumer spends that same $100 in a national chain $43 stays while online purchases net $0 to the area.
Although admission is free, donations to the Arlington Food Pantry are welcomed. The Arlington Home Show Expo will run from 12 to 4PM.
