Meadowbrook Neighborhood, Sandy Springs GA - Friendly, Flat, Truly Walkable Location, Convenient and Affordable
There are very few neighborhoods in Atlanta that offer the best of features at such as affordable in town price. Meadowbrook Neighborhood nestled literally on the edge of the City of Sandy Springs and the City of Atlanta just off Roswell Rd is this neighborhood.

The folks are friendly with all kinds of events throughout the year including: Wine Tasting, Easter Egg hunt, Spring Party (adults only), 4th of July Parade, Halloween Cul de Sac party and tour of costumes, Fall Festival, Holiday Party (adults only), Santa in the cul de sac for kids, Tour of homes - every other year, monthly meetings for ladies only and a Meadowbrook Book Club!
We've had many folks tell us how upset they were if they had to move out of Meadowbrook since it was such an amazing community. It helps that the Meadowbrook Neighborhood streets are very flat (not the easiest thing to find in Atlanta.) This makes strolling along with kids on bikes, pets or friends a whole lot easier.
Even better, within 1/2 mile, you can walk to so many things it's amazing for Atlanta/Sandy Springs. My favorite walkable feature is the Chastain Park area with golf course, walking path, sports, playground, swimming pool, tennis, horse park, concert amphitheater, school and more! Besides the park you can easily walk to multiple grocery stores, restaurants, shops and drugstores. Again, not a common option for most Atlanta homes.
Meadowbrook Neighborhool school district is mainly the High Point Elementary, Ridgeview, & Riverwood High School for the homes in the City of Sandy Springs part. For a minor few in the southern most part of the neighborhood, the schools are Atlanta Public Schools – Warren Jackson Elementary, Sutton Middle School and N. Atlanta High School.
Average home prices in the Meadowbrook neighborhood are approximately $400k for a nice 3 bedroom home. There are a few brand new homes built recently that can range close to or over a Million, but those are in the minority for the neighborhood.
