Enjoy the First Annual Rockin' Brews and BBQs at Smith Mountain Lake

You already know how many ways there are to have a great time here at Smith Mountain Lake, right? Well, another fun-filled spring gets an early kickoff with a brand new event sponsored by the SML Regional Chamber of Commerce event. Mark your calendar now for Saturday, April 30 from noon until 5pm; the first-ever Rockin' Brews and BBQs will be held right on Route 122 in downtown Moneta.

What you probably know as the site of the SML Business Expo, which is tents filled with businesses, will become tents filled with some of the tastiest barbeque you'll ever eat. Featuring BBQ flavors encompassing American traditions from Kansas City to North Carolina – and everything in between – the event will include MUCH more than just tasty treats.

Musical guests for the afternoon are sure to get your feet moving; you'll enjoy the live rockin' sounds of Corey Hunley, Justin Prilliman and C.U. and the Kidd. And that's not all! There'll be plenty of activities for the entire family, including the YMCA’s huge inflatable play area for kids, a local magician, balloon art and a ‘Rockin’ Corn-Hole Tournament.
