Wine and Pasta Anyone?

I was out in the cold today doing an inspection. When I got home, I decided to look through some of my photos I selected, some time ago, to send up to Active Rain. I found this one and I am in the mood for it.

This is a shop in Milan, Italy. And shops like this abound over there. It is totally amazing how many different types of pasta the Italians make fresh, and how much pride some people take in their pasta and their tantalizing morsels.

This is what we would call a deli. In fact, it is a gourmet experience.

I love pasta and the picture brings back many fond memories of time I spent years ago in Rome. I loved going off onto the side streets where the locals went and had stopped in a small bar and ordered a "pie". Best pizza I have ever eaten and they roll it up in oil paper like a cone.
