First Communion

In less than a month my daughter, Claire goes for her First Communion. Yesterday, she had 4 hours of training. Don't ask what they do for 4 hours, but hey, they did it! So....while thinking of the Speechless Sunday photograph, I found the one of my 2nd oldest, Jake, and mom! Well.....this dude's past 1rst Communion and is off for a basketball tournament today, but he is learning how to be a competitive athlete why trying to let Christ direct his heart! Tough to merge together, but once he does, he'll be dialed down!

Oh I love it....and what learning and challenges he still has! My niece started her baptism classes today....the group will all be baptized on Easter Sunday! It is a neat process to see the kids go through!!!

Larry, My Sydney has been asking since she was 3 about getting her First Communion! Every Sunday she says "I can't wait until I am in 2nd grade so I can have my First Communion". It is truly amazing to me that at such a young age she is so eager to share in this special gift!
