Speechless Sunday - 1730 Chiquita Chamomile

By

Blooming Cover Crop in Vineyard RowsWalking through fields of fragrant flowers is a wonderful experience. Most vineyards in northern Sonoma county plant mustard or fava beans between the vines. This older vineyard of cabernet sauvignon vines is graced with dense carpets of chamomile blossoms between each row. I was going to write a mystery post about the yellow dust on my shoes, but thought showing you the flowers was a better idea.

What a gorgeous picture.  Chamomile is beautiful as useful in so many ways.  Thanks for sharing this loveliness with us. A

Someone made the right decision in planting flowers between the vines. Now that is a beautiful carpet of color.

Very nice contrast of the fresh spring flowers and the dormant grape vines.  What a nice place to spend some time at any season.
