Speechless Sunday - San Francisco Cable Cars

Chris- what memories you brought for me.  I was in SF when I was 4 and remember my dad taking me to see the cable cars.

i have never ridden a cable car but it looks fun.... i love san fran though

Chris, thanks for the memories...I visited SF in the 90s and went to the Whart, Pier 39 and rode the cable cars.  I know you had a great time with you son.

Chris - we were there in the 80's. Rode the cable cars, went to the wharf. There was a minor earthquake while we were upstairs in one of the buildings there. (We lived in LA at the time so it wasn't scary to us).

Cable cars are on my bucket list.  Now after seeing this I know I just HAVE to ride.  I'll likely sound a lot like your son.  I just rode a trolly about 4 years ago for the first time. 

Chris - Although I'm a huge "walker" when ever I go to San Fransisco, I make an exception and you can usually find me riding the cable cars - this make my husband very happy! Nothing like that here in NJ!

What a great way to spend the day together. Love the picture of the white knuckles on the hill.

It doesn't appear that too many folks walk those steep hills. Great post...Family first.

Chris - Love the cable cars though they've gotten expensive.  But, I think my favorite cable car is the one they serve at Ghiradellis ; )
