It's Sunday again!

Each Sunday, I ask you to tell me something good that happened to you this week.

It's a tradition that Don and I have had with the grandchildren at dinner time when we have them. They so love it and never get too old for it. If Don or I pretend to forget to start the Good Something Conversation, one of them will start.

It's so much fun. Each family member takes a turn telling something that good that happened to them during the past week and then sometimes we go back around and tell something that we learned because I want them to know that we never quit learning and growing.

So I'll start it off... I met with two former clients yesterday and listed their home. They bought this home through me about 5 years ago. It is one of the nicest homes on Raymond Gary Lake and the original owner spared no expense in having it constructed right. Quality through-out. 3050 sq ft plus 2 car attached garage on approx 1.25 acres with 320 feet of shoreline, boat dock, and boat house. Lovely landscaping. I haven't looked at the photos yet to get started on all of the marketing that I want to do on this home. BUT it feels so great when former clients come back to you. I appreciate this couple.

This week is Spring Break here in Oklahoma at most of our schools. Gail, my daughter, and her two girls will be for a few days and the three grandchildren that live here will be around.. so it's going to be a Gram and Pappaw week. Love my job.. in that I can mix it with family when I need/want to.

Judi ~ Despite the words of a bullying "Top Producer"I held an Open House in a new farm & put up lot's of my signs. It made me smile to see my name all around the area & not one of his signs.

secondly (and most importantly) my daugher called leaving a message just saying she loves me & appreciates all i have done for her. (I saved the voice mail because it brought tears to my eyes.)

Judi-This week was a tough one for me(I won't bore you with all the details), but at the end of it all we enrolled my 3 year old daughter in preschool. This Monday will be the 1st time she has attended any kind of public care system. She is so excited. I was too, when I found out that the teacher is the same one that taught both of my older boys(now 9 and 16). It is so wonderful to see such great people so dedicated to the development of our children.

Judi, although it was quieter than usual this week, I had several good things occur. I picked up a new investor who is interested in rural properties while my regular investor is interested in town properties. I got the county covered! My daughter's car emergency which we thought was going to cost several hundred, turned out to be a battery issue. It was a beautiful week most of last week and going to be very nice week coming up too!

Judi today was just a great Sunday, I, my daughter, two daughter in laws and future daughter in law went to a local spa for massages and then out to a local French Restaurant for tapas and some wine. It was wonderful to bond without the boys and kids. We need to do it more often.

This is a wonderful tradition that you have started with your family and now share with us. This is great!

I believe if I have at least one good thing happen... it makes up for all the things that challenged me in the week.

I have a wonderful former client that I did a "Staging to Live" (redesign) project for. She loved what I did and has continued to give me referrals. Since her project she has given me three other projects and she emailed me last week giving me another name and phone number of someone who would like my services.
