To my Son

By
Real Estate Agent with BHHS Keys Real Estate

Yesterday my Son turned 33 years old. Of course I wished him the happiest of Birthdays.

He is still single, without a current love interest (that I know of), but he seems to be having fun. We spoke Thursday. the last day he was available until a great weekend in South Beach.

He made mention of the fact that I had been/done more when I was his age. He was 10 when I was his age.

What I am most interested in for him is the fact that he is happy. Was I happy with my life at his age? I guess, but it was so long ago and I really didn't to think about it much. I don't care about material success or the relationship thing, I only care about whether he is happy.

Be happy my son, be happy!

Kathy, you are so right, the best you can wish for a child is that they are happy, that's all that really matters in the end.

All good mothers feel that way Kathy. Congratulations to you on his birthday, I say that because his birthday is yours. I always give my mother flowers on my birthday, as do my children on mine. It was also my habit to send flowers to my mother-in-law on my husbands birthday. So again congratulations to you.

Kathy, So true and spoken like a mother who truly loves her son. Happiness comes from a good life and if he's happy...momma's happy! That is my greatest wish for both my sons.

Kathy, wishing your son a very Happy Birthday (belated, though.)

Your philosophy is perfect - age may matter but what matters most is happiness!
