Can someone help me with the size of my blog? I've noticed that my blog is really wide and most other blogs are narrower. I find it difficult to read my own blog which is why I always put lots of pictures at the right side. Sometimes pictures are hard to come by and I'd like to just post something short without having to try to find pictures to make the text area skinnier. Can someone tell me why my blog is wide and how to make it skinnier like other blogs? Even my marketing guru doesn't know what's going on, so he suggested I ask for help this way. Jim, that happened to me once. It was when I put in a large photo. I deleted that post and it went back to normal.

I did it!
I just started messing around with things and saw at the top left, the very first thing under our names is “Blogs.” Under that is “ActiveRain (Customize)” and that’s what I did. It wasn’t hard but it’s certainly not intuitive to people who don’t know what they are doing.
I’ll do a tutorial on it tomorrow, but all you have to do is change your page color to something other than black. I changed mine to blue.

Jim - AHA! So that is how it is done. Thanks for sharing! I had this problem last year and couldn't figure it out. I was tinkering around with my blog and it suddenly went away. I didn;t know how I fixed it so I have left it alone ever since. Thanks for sharing this!

Hi Jim - I notice that keeping my photo size under control helps with mine, although I don't really think yours is any fatter than anyone else's - at least not on my computer. And now that you have "fixed" it, all I see different is a very narrow blue border. Maybe I've missed the point.
