The Cherry Creek School District boasts many wonderful schools, however Cherry Creek High School is definitely high on the list that I am asked about often. Neighborhood schools can often be a very important factor when choosing to buy a home for some.
Colorado is an open enrollment state, some schools are at or near capacity, and living within the school's geographic boundaries can sometimes be the only or best way to be certain of enrollment. This is often the case with Cherry Creek High School - it can be one of the most difficult schools to open enroll at it seems each year.
Cherry Creek High School is an award winning school and I often receive requests to look at homes only in this schools boundaries due to un-sure open enrollment chances.
