I forgot all about it being Moose Monday but I always know where to celebrate it =]
Neat signs. The second one looks like the moose is about to charge someone/something to the left of us:-) I always enjoy your moose pictures, Gerry!
Bonjour mon ami - Long time no see. I'll be looking forward to Moose Monday again and your adventures in our nation's glorious capital.
Bill and Cyndi,
If you look for one or think hard about wanting to see one, it is amazing what you can run across that will remind you of moose, even in Western North Carolina. I sure was not expecting this and other reminders I had during my visit to Canada's capital.
Myrl,
It is always a pleasure to see your photo and your smiling face in the comments section of my posts... :)
I saw the sign and also that whether there was any moose or not in the surrounding area, that they sure were depicted as being mean (given that they appeared in the charging position)!
Bonjour Marc,
I slowed down quite a bit but beware of moose on Monday! They have not disappeared and a Moose Monday post may appear as it seems that I am still prone to seeing them no matter where I go! :)
You will like next week's edition of Moose Monday which will appropriately be titled Capital MOOSE! :)
They are magnificent creatures. Saw many on the way from jackson, WY to Moose :) Great pancakes there
Janice,
They sure are magnificient creatures. I am grateful I got to see some real ones in Montana and to photograph them.
Chris,
On the panel it sure looks like that. But the odds that if happens in real life are slim to none but I did once take a photo of deer and moose in the same picture. It is somewhere among the many posts in Moose Monday! :)
We have been searching for more moose surprises for you Gerry, but they are hard to come by in the Toronto area. We will find one for you, mon ami!
Not too many moose here in Western North Carolina. I do find it odd that people here like to decorate with them as their "mountain decor". I guess, like the deer, moose are synonimous with "mountains".
