What are you Reading to get Better?

By
Mortgage and Lending with Zenith Mortgage Advisors NMLS# 5016

I try to read as many books as I can.  I have 3.5 kids, so free time is pretty scarce.  That generally means that I only read books on sales, attitude, influnce, or other business or personal development topics.  I don't have enough time to read novels and other works of fiction.

I find that reading gives me a fresh perspective on lots of different subjects.  I can then teach people what I've learned, if I think it could change their perspective or positively impact their business.

Some of my favorite books:

Play to Win! by Wilson and Wilson
Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson
The Richest Man in Babylon by George Clason
The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino
The Fred Factor by Mark Sanborn

I collect recommended reading lists, and always looking for suggestions.  What are some of the best personal growth/business development books you've read? What have you got for me?

"Who Moved My Cheese" should be required reading for everyone.  Life is ever changing and the ability to adapt to it is part of what seperates out the winners and losers.  That book really covers the topic well - and it's a very fast read (super short book).

@ Suzanne, It's a great story about adapting, and fits our industry perfectly.

@ Bryan, One of the things I love about it is that's it's amusing and concise.  It's a quick read with a great message.

What do you two suggest?  Anything special lately?

"Your money or your Life" by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin     Who moved my cheese is another great book.  I actually have a "recommended books" on my website and none have to do with real estate.

@Rob, Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check that one out.  I read very few real estate specific books, but many on business philosophy.
