Springtime Real Estate

By

Spring is such an amazing time to buy or sell a home. The season, innately, has hopeful and optimistic characteristics and it creates the perfect energy for finding a new home. A recent poll showed that 68% of potential homebuyers and home-sellers expect that their property values will recover in the next year or two. That is up from 47% that expected their home prices would rise at this time last year.

The spirit of renewal that comes during Easter and the luck of the Irish that surrounds March have helped me close many transactions over the years. I have recently acquired a string of new listings and I am always excited to show them on these Springtime Sundays.

There are tons of questions that surround the real estate market. And there are mixed reviews about when things will be back on the rise. Nothing makes me feel more positive about the future than these beautiful days and my beautiful listings.

First time buyers are going to have a more difficult time in the next few months, new regulations and laws are making their transactions much more expensive. This news comes at a time when investors are just starting to get back into the market. The type of buyer is always in flux and it seems that more serious, more business-minded folk are going to be buying this spring.

I’m with the 68% of homebuyers who believe in this market. And I believe in the power of Spring!

Adrienne, we should never underestimate consumer confidence!  Things are quite hectic right now and that is just fine with us, as well!  We wish you lots of buyers for all your new listings, Adrienne!

Spring buying is great for families because the children can make friends in a new neighborhood before transitioning to a new school. Ill be working with a family starting in april and try to close in May or June. Its important for families to keep the children in school and transition in the new school year (Sept). Inventory is tight especilally in sub areas where there are great schools. Buyers need to get a jump start to get in the better areas! Thanks for the positive blog!
