Can anyone refer me to a good software program that will assist me in tracking my clients by name, address, search date, criteria, closing anniversary dates, etc. that will give me a reminder too?

Top Producer 7i -- absolutely the best. Steep learning curve, but worth it.

Ditto on Top Producer.  Ditto on the learning curve.  It's about a buck a day for the service with a one year commitment.

Where would I find that, Ann?  I have heard of it, now that you mention it.  Can it be ordered online?  Is it real difficult?

Barry,

It sounds like something you have to subscribe to.  Isn't there something I can just purchase and install to my notebook?

I looked into Top Producer, subscribed to it, and then decided to switch to Agent Office. If you do not need to use when you are on the road, Agent Office would be OK. It is on your computer (and two assistants could be working with you at the same time, and it costs $329.

You could follow the link to http://garydavidhall.com/ David is a reseller of Top Producer, Agent Office and some other contact management software. He is quite knowledgeable, on his website you can read about the programs and make a choce. If you buy through David, he would add 4 hours of his training for free.

David also could advise you on the program for you. You might need to add Trans-Plans, so that you could get the most out of these programs.

Good luck

Top Producer has a program to use if you are away from an internet connection, but I gave it up for lack of use -- who is every totally away from the internet. I have a Verizon card for my laptop so I can access MLS on listing appointments!

Top Producer has a beta release of a new version (8i). It's going to have quite a different interface. You might want to ask when they expect the public release of it so you don't have to learn 7i and then make the switch.

TopProducer.com is the the sales website. If you go with it, I suggest you ignore all of the marketing and financial features -- at least for several months. Just use the contact management and closing/listing tracking. Set-up some followup plans for various contact types. Don't try to learn it all at once.
