Can you think of another reason not to buy?

How many excuses have you heard in the past few months?

Some are legitamate but most aren't. It's that simple.

Here's some facts:

Prices on homes are the lowest they've been in years and years.

Mortgage rates fluxuate but they are still the lowest they've been in years too.

Selection of homes to buy is high, inventory is up.

All of this is equals some pretty darn good reasons to buy right now. I can understand if your job is in jeopardy or the economy has taken it's toll on you but for everyone else now is the time to buy.

Why wait until everyone else starts buying and jump on the bandwagon? Prices go up, selection goes down and you get into bidding wars. Remember those? Now you might be saying "well, the prices might come down just a little more". Really? I don't have a crystal ball but I'll tell you this, and history has a way of repeating itself, when it does start getting busy again the prices will go up, creating a "snowball" effect. Too many homeowners have lost  serious amounts of equity and they'll be looking to recover that asap. It's only human nature.

So if you're a buyer or a potential buyer, take advantage of this market and you won't have to be one of the people that will be saying "I should have bought in 2011".

All very true!! People are still being cautious and I would jump on the bandwagon and purchase this year for sure!

You are right and I have been saying this for some time.  Even might agents seem to be against me.  They tell me that people are afraid of losing their jobs.  What about this?  You have to live somewhere and pay rent.  Why not buy?  This is driving me crazy.  To prove a point, I bought a house myself.
