The place where you will spend many days and nights. where memories will be created, fears will be eased, and love will be shared, but it is most often one's BIGGEST INVESTMENT and you have to be smart and think ahead when preparing to make, what may be, the biggest purchase of your life.
- Do you HAVE to HAVE a realtor?
Your going to get one anyway, whether you think you need one or not. Why not have one that is working for your best interest? Many people do not understand the advantages of having a professional representative working in their best interest, WORKING FOR YOU! If you don't have one working for you then you are using the one that is working for the seller.
How do you know they are working for you?
Do you have a written agreement? It is that easy. When you sign an agreement that says that you are obtaining the services of this professional to represent you in any real estate transaction you may make in the next 30 days or 120 days, or even on a specific property you have come across, the agent and their broker are also signing the agreement that states that they "shall promote the interests of the buyer by: performing the terms of the agreement, seeking property at a price and terms acceptable to the buyer, presenting in a timely manner all written offers or counteroffers to and from the buyer, disclosing to the buyer all material facts related to the property or concerning the transaction of which they have actual knowledge, and accounting for in a timely manner all money and property received in which the buyer has or may have interest.
