Home Home on the Range....... Give Me A Home Where The Buffalo Roam....

As part of my mountain excursion yesterday with my business partner, Belinda, we stopped in Genesee, Colorado where there is a herd of buffalo grazing. Genesee is just off of I-70 at exit 254, just east of Evergreen. The buffalo are fed every day by the City of Denver Mountain Park system.

Here are some great shots of the herd.  This big guy didn't move much.  He just sat back and kept an eye on things while the rest of his herd relaxed and ate.

Thanks for sharing your photographs. We do not see too many buffalo in Maryland!

I hope you are assisting some home buyers today. The spring market is a great time for them to take advantage of the low home prices and the very low interest rates. Lenders are recommending early lock-ins on interest rates since there is a lot of market pressure to raise rates to attract more private capital.

 Blooming for home buyers this spring!

Hi Roy,  It is a small herd that the City of Denver has.  But Custer South Dakato has over 1600 in there herd and also lots in Yellowstone.  Have a great day.

TN offers tax incentives to farmers who care for buffalo so our neighbor has four, I see everyday. They are quite the creatures.
