Mortgage Brokers: Top 5 complaints?

By
Mortgage and Lending with Eagle View Mortgage

Hello everyone,

I'm treading on thin ice here I believe. I'm a mortgage broker in a Realtors world. However, that said I have a question I wanted to pose to any of you local realtors that might care to respond. I am looking for honest responses about what Realtors think, and feel, are the top 5 problems with the services they provide and what are the top 5 things you would like to see them provide.

What are the top 5 compliants?

Top 5 things I would like to see?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

I thought I was going to be opening myself up for quite a few comments on this topic. Seems like we often hear about brokers holding things up. I've compiled a list from what I've hear and it's typically the following:

1-Could not get a hold of the loan officer.

2-Loan did not close on time.

3-Interest rate was higher than disclosed to the client.

4-Loan officer gave a bad commitment letter.

5-Good Faith Estimate did not disclose all the fees.

Hopefully with the industry changes a lot of these problems are disappearing.
