Is a work out effective if you don't sweat? This is a question I begin to ponder after walking for two hours and not breaking a sweat. I wanted to know if their were others who couldn't get into the soaked tee's club: so I Google the question, " why don't I sweat when I work out?"
After going through several Google pages (I know, unheard of right?) the consensus seems to be split between two opinions. First, you don't need to sweat to have an effective workout. Second, you could be dehydrated, see a doctor.
For a split second I panic. Oh my God! I have to see a doctor, I'm severely dehydrated. Hey, wait a minute I drink plenty of water. Plenty. But it couldn't be the second opinion, could it? Then it hits me like a ton of bricks; my workout is too easy. It's not intense, heck it's not even moderate. Wait! Maybe I'm just one of those people who don't sweat.
Eventually I give up on the excuses and pop in a 40 minute step aerobics DVD. Bam! Sweet perspiration.
