Signs of Spring

By
Home Builder with Winslow Homes

They're all around!  Signs of Spring that is.  Birds are chirping & frogs are singing.  I even heard the Spring Peepers out in the wet woods behind my back yard just late last week.  Heck, Spring is even in their name!Wild violet

And of course flowers are blooming, like these little wild violets in one of my customer's yard.

Hyacinth

And there are more signs, like these hyacinth in our front garden.

But the most sure sign of all, the one that you KNOW Spring is here when you see it is this:  when your handyman's van has to put on it's sunglasses.

Handyman van sunglasses

Spring is here!  As of 7:21pm (EDT) today!  Enjoy it!

Spring is my favorite time of the year!!!

I love the blooms, the birds, the love in the air.   My most vivid memories is  passing by an orchard of cherry blossoms. Amazing. :)  Love your pic's, keep them coming.

Jeremy - It's so exciting, bring on the spring!  I love the spring, not too hot, not too cool.

Can't wait to see the trees turn green again.

Thanks for the post and especially the pics.

Rachell, isn't it though?  Our grass (really it's more weeds) is still brown, but parts of it are getting green!  I had to mow it last week for the first time this year.

Spring is here! We had a very spring like week-end in the Seattle area, the neighborhood and its park with filled with people out enjoying the fabulous spring weather.

Hi Jeremy, my auto has a pair of shades just like those too.  They work very nicely to keep the interior temp of a parked car a bit cooler.

Adrian, wonderful!  Everyone always just seems to appear out of nowhere in Spring, don't they?

Dave, around here it stuck around for a while.  It was unusually cold (2nd year in a row like that), but my attitude was better about it, as I did get snow a few times and get to sled with my kids.

Dale, they are so good for that!  And my seat doesn't feel as hot either.  I always hate a hot seat (as do sports coaches).

Tony, they are cool.  And they keep the seat and van cool, too!

Thanks for stopping by!
