St. Mary's Glacier - Elevation 10,300 feet - Colorado

Wednesday, my business partner, Belinda, and I went on a day excursion in the Rocky Mountains to take a quick break from real estate.

Our final stop of the day before heading back down to Denver was St. Mary's Glacier.  Neither of us had been there before.  We were driving around Idaho Springs when Belinda said "Let's take that road to St. Mary's Glacier".

I didn't expect it to take 45 minutes of winding mountain roadsto reach our destination, but it was worth the trip.  This was the most scenic stop of the day.  I was amazed at how many homes there were along the way.  How do these people live up there are year long battling the harsh winter snow storms? They are definitely mountain people.

On the drive back into town, we decided that we need to get away from the craziness at least once a month.  Keep watching for more Colorado pictures in the weeks to come.

This is such a pretty place.  I think we hit it at a great time of year.  It was such a beautiful day.  The blue skies and crisp snow make for some great photos.  Sorry your car got all muddy.

hi i have a lot in st.marys that i would like to sell lot 709 texas dr. if anyone is looking to but a lot in st.marys will sell way under price of other lot that have water,sewer on road at lot. 4,500 thanks
