What a Tough St. Patrick's Day, The Pinching was Nearly Non-stop!

By
Real Estate Agent with Florida Supreme Realty SL514814

The week for me always starts or ends on Sundays with an Open House depending on what the calendar may hold.  Well, this week I hadn't factored in the "Green" to my plan and was left unprotected against the Leprechaun's pinch.  No green means you're gonna have to pay!  I exclaimed to all that "I'm Irish" but with no compassion from anyone and alas to no avail.  I went into survival mode adding the green Starbuck's coffee cup "hot" sleeve to my forearm.  Hey, it worked, the pinching and subsequent bruising went away.  I was whole once again albeit looking somewhat like a cartoon "Sheena" or Wonder Woman with new found power bands raised in the air.  No lighting bolts or electrical energy waves were emitted from them but they held enough power to get a coffee cup refill.  Sometimes you just take what you can get.  I was able to get away from the office at about 8:30 and with no particular plans headed out for my Irish staple of you know what.  With determination and a steady pace I was able to consume the mounded heap in about 45 minutes.

Kevin,
Richard Simmons says " A sliver leads to a slab leads to a slob".  I grew fatter just looking at it, (x-p).  Did you wash it all down with a pint of ale?

Alexandra, it wasn't fancy but it sure was delicious!

Dee, in that case he's not coming to dinner, although I'd love to have some of his energy!

Ginny, there's a funny story prior to this that made me not partake of a good stout myself!

Oh my goodness, now that looks like quite a wonderful way to celebrate St. Patricks Day.  No green?  Shame on you! Great job in improvising. LOL My family is about as Irish as they come - they are the Whelan family, or in older days, O'Phelan.  And those O'Phelan's... they knew how to celebrate - let me tell ya!  Sounds like it was a fun day for you!  Cheers, Kevin :-)

Sandy, I paid the price by not wearing the green but eventually corrected my mistake.  I know Whelan's and Phelan's but no O'Phelan's, sounds like a rowdy bunch of Jameson drinkers!  I know they'd be great friends of mine.

Everyone downtown was trashed by the time I made it out of the office Tagrid, or at least it seemed so.  You'll never guess!  It was "The Clock", and only $10.59, try to beat that!

Looks great to me.  Healthy.... maybe not.  Love cabbage though and that's healthy!

Dave, I guarantee my portion control was out of whack with that meal.  Other than that it's probably better for us than a burger & fries, and, of course, the "diet" soda.  Now my mouth is watering for some Stuffed Cabbage, sort of the same and yet altogether different.
