The stove comment is kind of funny. Usually everything that is not built into the home is taken. Including the furnace, toilets, washer/dryer, refridgerator, lights, and hot water tank. Is it common in your area for banks not to pay a SOC? (just curious about how other parts of the world work.)

Hi Debi,

You never know what the owner of a home is going to take as they go into foreclosure.  A few homes are pristine, most are trashed to some extent.  In this case the only thing they took was the stove and the Bank is crediting $ 600 for a relacement.  The banks around here seldom go that far.

Refards,

Mike West
