Spring is right around the corner and we all will be doing our spring cleaning.I started to clean,and came across several old cell phones.The big question was ,what do we do with the old ones.Being green ,disposing them in the trash wasn't an option so I went on line and found that Sprint.com/reuse will connect you too a web site that you can send the old phones to. They will use what they can and recycle the rest.Good luck and Happy selling.

There are many places that will recycle old used phones they can be turned in at the Verizon stores also. Some civic organizations and schools in our area are also collecting them. I just wonder why they don't want the charging cords?

Another great idea is to give them away through sites like FreeCycle. FreeCycle is a fantastic way for folks to recycle household items that are too good for the "dump"....but the items just need to find a new home. I suggest this to all of my customers who are moving and have major clean out work to do. Check it out www.freecycle.net for your local group. Don't throw away...give away!
