Would you risk your life for a sale? Well that is what I asked myself this afternoon. I was driving on the highway and as we all do when driving, I was daydreaming about different ideas about marketing my staging business. At times I wish I could turn off my brain off! As I drove to my destination, I am pondering why after investing good money into wrapping the windows on my car, I have not had one call for staging a home deriving from that advertising.

Well as I thought that... low and behold the phone rang!I answer even though I shouldn't,(it is illegal in Canada).. but I thought it could be a potential client!!! Well as I anserwed the gentleman on the other end tells me that he is in the van driving behind me and wants me to give him some information about staging his soon to be vacant home. As we drove I asked him if he would like to pull over on the side of the highway and I could give him my business card and other information. ..

I know this sounds crazy, here we are pulled over on the side of the highway exchanging business cards and cell numbers as cars are whizzing by us!! I thought to myself OMG! All I need is to get hit by a car as we both stand here... or this guy could be a crazy

killer, but thank God he wasn't...

Well I guess the moral of the story is that no more where you are you can always be marketing your business...Even on the side of the highway!

Hi Anna~ No, I would not knowingly risk my life for any sale. No amount of money is worth it! But, then again, I guess we take more risks than the average worker due to the nature of our work!

You are worth far more than that, silly girl, never pull over to the side in the middle of nowhere, no sale is worth it. But, congrats on getting the new business.

Good lesson Anna and a phone call can always wait especially if you're driving! I would never have pulled over myself and I'm glad you're OK... but now at least you do know your car wrap works! Be safe!

Anna - Well, at least on the side of a busy highway, there would be lots of witnesses, if he was a weirdo... Getting hit is another matter! Wow, your car wrap looks really great. How long have you had it that way? Does it impede your vision when driving at all? I keep wondering if I should get my van wrapped.

Thank you to all of you that were very concerned about me that is very nice.... and for those of you that were asking about the visibility of the windows... you do have to get used to the windows because it does impede the visability somewhat... so you have to pay attention when switching lanes ect.... my kids are not as crazy about it also because they can't see out....
