Acceptable or.... Phone Calls at 3:48 AM

in this day and time where we all like to get our information as soon as possible, I am no different; however, I have got to say I draw the line with anyone calling me at 3:48 AM.

Under no circumstances do I find it suitable for someone to call and ask:

IS my upcoming Auction ABSOLUTE or not. And if its  not absolute-  what's the reserve.

The only reason you should call anyone at this time is if:

1. Someone Is Dead.

2. You are in Jail(scratch that).... you were in an accident.....

3. It better be Something REALLY REALLY GOOD,

For the record, I didn't answer my cell phone. He left a voicemail. The gentleman seemed sober and was in another timezone, but that only justifies 1 hour. And 4:48 AM is still too early.

I don't have a home phone and leave my blackberry on during the night in case of one of three acceptable scenarios listed above.

Wow you are alot more merciful then me.. The only reason someone should call me at that time is if someone died... I had one of those calls this past summer and it wasn't pretty.. But if you get arrested, don't call me.. If your stupid enough to get arrested you can stay the night there...

I agree with Stacey.  Don't call me at 3:48am because you got arrested.  You'll still be arrested at 8:00am when I listen to the voice mail message.

My phones are off at night.

1.  Dead?  I doubt that I can bring you back from the dead.   RIP, I will send flowers.

2.  You are in Jail?  Okay, it's cold, clammy, and you want out.  But I'm sorry, we'll bail you out at 8:00AM.  Call me then.

2. a.  Accident?  At 3:48AM, you are probably in Jail; see #2.  If you are in a Hospital, what better care can you receive?  If not, the Police can take you to the station.  Sit on the bench, enjoy a cup of their coffee, I will pick you up at 8:00AM.

3.  Something really Good?   What can be that good?   Bales of money are washing up on the Beach, hurry on down and grab them before they are all gone?  Not likely.

  :)

I don't know guys; if you saw an episode of "The Million Dollar Listing", Josh got a phone call from a buyer at 4am and sold him an $18 million dollar property. Are you saying your sleep is worth more than $540,000?? LOL
