Buying a Home in Rancho Marana - A Lovely Marana, AZ Community

Rancho Marana subdivision is an area of newer homes about five minutes west of Tangerine and I-10.  This is a master-planned area of Marana that was hit hard by FEMA flood plain zoning a few years back, as well as the recession's effect on housing in the area.

But Rancho Marana and nearby Gladden Farms is worth a drive by.  Richmond American, Meritage  (GREEN homes!), and Pulte are all back at work busy building up the community.  Resale homes are at amazing prices for buyers as well.

Currently, in Rancho Marana, there are several homes available.  These are 2, 3, and four bedroom homes for sale with contemporary styling in an active home-owner association community.  Pride of ownership abounds.

The homes are one and two story, frame stucco, ranging in size from 1246 sqft to 2271.  Prices range from $108,000 to $250,000.  The median homes in the area are selling for $146,500.  That's amazing pricing.

Factoring with some quick math, a 5% loan with 20% down, taxes and insurance, brings you a monthly payment close to $900 a month on the average home in this community.  Are you currently renting?  Perhaps a drive to Rancho Marana might be in your best interests today!

Rancho Marana Pathways

Nearby communities include Gladden Farms and San Lucas.  Marana City Hall is moments away with the new Northweast Medical Center nearing completion this spring.  Ora Mae Harn Park and Pima Library branch is nearby.  City planning includes Fry's, Walgreens and schools in the future of Rancho Marana and Gladden Farm's future.

Call a Marana neighbor, I'm THERE!

Thanks, Lynda.  I've taken so many photos of the area, but try to use new ones each time I blog.  I love the back side of "Sombrero Peak" in Marana!

Dana - I find it interesting to look back at the FLOOD photos, in the eighties I believe, of Marana.  There's still quite a few cotton fields but for how long, I don't know!  Thanks for visiting my page!
