When do we offer assistance to another person? When we notice something is wrong or when they tell us something is bothering them. I study my co-workers and friends with a compassionate sense of their body language. I often think why do people say I wish I had said something nice when the person no longer needs our encouragement. I wonder why we find it so hard to really mean GOOD MORNING, HOW ARE YOU? Why are some people more upbeat why others tend to be depressed? To me it is our perspective on life. How we are raised has a lot to do with our responses too. Positive parents breed positive children and more happiness. I think some people are just funny from the moment they are born.
On the other hand critical and negative parents breed self doubt and anti-social behavior in their children. So when I am out in the world or speaking to my family, I put my game face on and do my best to help others. One smile starts the infection and spreads to critical laughter. Before you know it the intensive comedy routine starts.
How can you be so sad when you see a flower grow and bloom? Or see a baby giggle. And who can resist the innocent smile of a child? What does it take for us to enjoy the simple things again? A more simple approach to life in my opinion.
This is just my spin on how a person reacts to world. In the greater scheme of things, I hope we keep dancing and laughing. I want people to laugh at the funny things I do. The little quirks that make us all human. Lighten up and laugh at me! If you want something to do, go out and just watch people in the mall or stores, funny stuff happens every day! Trust me! I have tripped and stumped through many a store.
Cheers!
Patricia
