Who Says Buyers Only Pull Brochures During The Day?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Hamm Homes

I am always trying to come up with something different than my competition has, and at the same time WOW my clients.

A few months ago, I ordered 6 of these light up brochure boxes which are solar powered.  When the sun goes down, my brochure box lights up.

This increases the exposure time of my listings over the competition.  My sellers love the idea! brochure box

I realize that many agents do not use flyers any longer and have switched to sign riders with QR Codes or a number to call to get property information.

So far, all of my sellers still want flyers in front of their homes.  There are still people looking for houses that don't know how to scan a QR Code or don't have a cell phone with them, and they simply want information about the home.

I also use the sign riders and attach a QR Code to my flyer box for those who don't want a brochure.

I feel it is very important to give each home the maximum exposure.

I ordered these boxes from Bright Post.  They occasionally have them on sale if you buy 12 for $17.00 each. The regular price is $24.95 each.

For you listing agents that still use property flyers, this is worth checking out!

Sorry the picture doesn't completely depict the illumination.  It is hard to get that when your camera has a flash and you are taking a picture in the dark.

Will~ What a great idea!  We all may be rushing towards the new technology, but there are consumers out there who aren't. What a great way to have the best of both worlds.

That's pretty ingenious Will. I like that they're solar powered which eliminated the need for batteries. Always be thinking out of the box.

Love it!  Great tip and I will check it out.  I have just started with QR codes but a lot of the public has not caught on so the flyers are still a tool with success.  Thanks for the info!

Now that is something that I haven't seen before! After the internet, the yard sign is the #2 source of information for buyers, so if you can have that working for you another 10-12 hours a day then I say go for it!
