Spring Renewal Contest: My Journey Towards Success
For many us of the new year is time to take a fresh run at our lives; both personally and professionally. We tell ourselves that we are going to keep up with a work out program and create new business ideas. We are invigorated and pumped up to develop new habits and break old ones. Yet, somehow spring turns into summer and we find ourselves not so fit, where did that fitness program go?... and our business life has turned into something akin to a stale relationship. We don't really want to call that "person" back but we can't break up with them either. Day to day business life has become rote, you might as well just punch that time card. Tick, tick, tick... time keeps passing by. Why does this cycle repeat over and over?? It keeps repeating because the biggest obstacle in our lives is ourselves. But we don't have to be like a rat on a wheel. We can let ourselves out of our inner cages and use our best ally which is OURSELVES!!
It's up to Numero Uno, to lift yourself up! I'm doing this by acting on four main things:
First- I am going to Do, take action in my life. I am going to law school while remaining active in my real estate business. I am also investing in myself by starting a course with Investools, learning how to manage my money better and establish a solid investment plan.
Second- Love and Parenting. Keep a balance w/ family and work. Remember to set aside time for the family. Our children are so precious and are a blessing in our lives.
Third- Believe. Plan with attitude, Prepare with aptitude. Write my goals down, look at them each day. remind myself what I'm working for!
Fourth- Hope. It's not about things getting better, it's about me getting better. I can't make money and excuses at the same time. I have plan and a vision for myself.
It doesn't matter what happens, just what we DO with what happens to us! Our biggest threat to our future success is the past we won't let go of. Success is prospering financially, spiritually, in family and in health. We've all had bad breaks, some of us maybe even terrible ones. But we're still here, give yourself permission to succeed- and you will!!
