I'm going to live to 200 and be successful all the way

I got a very early start to the day today so instead of breakfast before work, I took a breakfast break.  As a result, I saw a show that I have never seen before called the Drs.  One of the topics was how a handshake reflects on your health.

Do you give the limp fish or do you wrestle somebody to the ground with your handshake?  Believe it or not, a study showed that the stronger a handshake, the longer you live.  They also went through the perceptions of a strong handshake with people saying that the stronger a handshake, the more decisive a person was and the more of a leader they were.  People also felt they could trust somebody better who had a good handshake.

Interestingly the doctors said that one of the reasons that a person with a strong grip lived longer was that they were less neurotic and therefor handled stress better.  So off to the gym and stay away from that treadmill.  I want to see 25 sets on the grip machine and then it is out to 3 networking meetings to practice the grip and grin.

I know that I am going to live to 200 because old ladies at church avoid me for fear that I will crush their hands again.  At least I think that's why.  Maybe it's because I shower once a month whether I need it or not.  No, I am sure it is because of the handshake thing.

DISCLAIMER:  I shower more than once a month. (as far as you know)

A good grip with a hand or your life means the world.

You funny.  I know when I get the "dead fish" handshake from somebody, there is an immediate negative vibe.  Given the fact that it's nothing new to hear that people prefer a firm handshake, why don't people make a conscious effort to change?  Now go take a shower Stinky.
