March 22nd, 2011 - The third day of the 2011 Spring season. Ah yes!!! The snow is melting....grass patches starting to make their way out from under the snow that has had it in hibernation all winter........birds chirping.....Mother Nature blesses us with some very nice temps in the 60's......Can't you just smell it?!!!  SPRING IS HERE!!!!!!!!

Then you wake to find this scene......<<<<<record screeches to a halt>>>>

spring snow

Beautiful scene, huh! Since I moved here to the great State of Maine back in 2006, I was always told..."If you don't like the weather, hang around 5 minutes."  It seems that saying is true and can actually change that quick. Just gotta love it!

Don't let this fool you, Maine is a great State to live! I tell my friends and family it's almost like moving 4 times a year with the seasonal changes! Don't put the snow shoes or skis away just yet!

I posted on the blog last night about a Maine "Clearance Event" being hosted by The Maine Association of REALTORS®. Event runs for 8 days beginning Sunday March 27th to Sunday April 3rd.  To be eligible for this event, home owners must agree to drop their home prices by at least 10k starting Friday March 25th. Link to find homes participating in the event is www.mainelistings.com/Clearance/main  ***NOTE, this will only show homes with a price drop of 10k or more starting Friday March 25th. ***

You can find more about Maine homes for sale at my site www.homesnmaine.com . Let me assist you with your search by setting up an automated email search assistant. Properties matching your given criteria will be emailed to you once on the market allowing you to browse them when convenient for you. Contact me at eric@mainehomesnow.com  or call or text 207-651-5480.

Have a HAPPY SPRING everyone!
