Today's Table Topic:  Signs of Spring  I waited my turn as other members got up to speak about Signs of Spring. 

Mary:  On Feb. 2nd we celebrated because Punxsutawaney Phil did not see his shadow hence predicting an early spring.  Yesterday I posted a Wanted Notice:  One Dead Groundhog Who Predicted Early Spring

Comments came from all directions including Myrl Jeffcoat's in Sacramento: "Currently, it is hailing, thundering and lightening outside my windows.  I'm ready to skewer a certain groundhog:-)"

BAM!

 

 

I slammed my hand on the table. BAM! Today Phil is one DEAD Groundhog.

Juli--So true about weather forecasters.  Most of them tell a good story, but they never come true.  Next year I am just going to ignore all the hoopla about P. Phil.

Janice--You are probably right, but the groundhog's power to predict spring have been retold so many times.  Finally as an adult I am beginning not to believe them any more.

Toni--Yes, those stockbrokers haven't been too reliable lately either, have they?  Guess I will just have to keep busy with teaching this weekend and then there is the Belly Dancers' Show Saturday evening.  That will warm things up a bit.
