If you've never failed.. you will never succeed !!

What is success to you and how do you acheive said success? In my opinion, success can really be anything. If you put your mind towards something and acheive the end result you had hoped for, that would be a success. Or, as the dictionary defines it, "the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors." But there has to be a beginning point and then footsteps towards acheiving it, right!? To truly be successful in anything you do you must first determine what you're planning to do, decide the steps you will need to take, undergo pertinent, comprehensive training, and work diligently towards your goal. Three key factors, though, I feel most people leave out are: 1. Trying to recreate the wheel. Successful people have lived before you and so why wouldn't you simply follow their lead? 2. Not surrounding yourself with successful, like-minded people. If you try to go at it alone, trust me, you will hit a wall. In order to truly acheive success you must realize that there are others out there who are exactly where you are, have the exact same goals, and who can help you acheive your's. Surrounding yourself by other like-minded people will not only allow you to see different takes on situations, it will allow you to learn from their mistakes and failures, and, too, they can learn from your's as you assist eachother in reaching your common goal. and 3. Failing and giving up. Winston Churchill said, "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm." He knew that in order to achieve something, you are going to fail many attempts. It's how you react to those failures, though, that will either help or hinder you. It's your choice! You either take the failure as a learning experience, or you get frustrated and give up. So, with all that being said.. what are you going to do to succeed? I leave you with this video(one of my absolute favorites) that pretty much sums it all up... Enjoy!

Britney, great post. I believe if one is not failing at something, then they're not achieving. The key point though is to keep working hard through the failures. Those who have succeeded, failed more times than they succeeded.

I agree, this is a great post.  Never quiting and don't be afraid to fail sometimes.  You can't hit the game winning shot every night.

Britney ~ Thanks for sharing some inspiration today.  I am always inspired from other agents that have achieved significant success because they frequently admit they have made many mistakes along the way.  I think the key is twofold, perseverance and not being afraid to take risks, even in the wake of past failures.
