The other night while Uncle Charley was still in town visiting, we decided to head out for a bite to eat. The first place that came to mind was Charlie & Jake's (I know different spelling than Uncle Charley - what can I say, he's always been a little bit different). They're known for their delicious barbeque and their fresh brewed beer, made right there on the premises. Unfortunately, not being a beer drinker, myself, I don't partake in their brewskies. But, I understand they are quite tasty.

Next time I am in south Brevard Sandy I will have to stop by this place as the chicken and the BBQ meals look extremely tasty. I always read these posts when I am hungry.

The ribs look so tasty. I can almost taste them from the pictures. I am now craving ribs and I would love to have them for dinner but since it's lent no meat on Fridays! Well I guess that will be a good thought for the mene next week!

I'm going out on a limb and saying that that was Sam's tuna wrap and the World's largest steak fries I've ever seen. Uncle Charley had the Ribs & Chicken, Steph had Roast Beef & Beans that leaves you with a Grilled Chicken on a pasta plate. How'd I do?

Gary, Do you get to Charlie and Jake's often? They certainly draw quite a crowd. The food is consistently good. As you mentioned, I've heard that their beer is good. I'm not a beer drinker, so I have to take your word on that.

Gary, It's good. Great point, we're always reading these posts when we're hungry. Or by the time we're finished reading them, we're ready to eat. LOL

Yolanda, I hate to torture you, but what the heck, I may as well. LOL The ribs are quite good. You'll have to head down here sometime and we'll go there. Ribs sounds like a great menu item for home.

Ellie, I'm with you - have to get the baked beans. And they were very good. I like coleslaw alot too. Those are favorites with barbeque. Now, I sitting here at lunchtime, and these pictures are making me hungry.

Lou, I think that you'd enjoy it. They actually have 2 locations. One is over on the beachside, just across the Eau Gallie Causeway. That was the first one that was open. They do a good business.

Kevin, How were the Wicked Witbier's while looking at the menu? Good? lol Well you weren't too far off. Uncle Charley did have the chicken and ribs with a Budweiser. Sam had the wrap, it was a Chicken Ranch Wrap with fries. I usually get pasta, a wrap or a salad. But, that night I wanted a sandwich. So, I had the Carolina BBQ Sandwich with pulled pork and coleslaw on it and a side of baked beans. And, Stephanie always gets Pasta. She's a bit of a pasta fanatic.
