Canyon Creek Elementary in the RRISD in Austin, Texas practices recycling. The Environmental Awareness Committee is issuing a challenge to the students to participate in the spring Terracycle program. Students are encouraged to bring the following items to the classroom: empty Elmer glue sticks; writing instruments; ANY BRAND: pens, pencils (#2), mechanical pencils, markers & highlighters. Examples include a Sharpie marker, Expo dry erase marker, etc; Scotch tape - ANY BRAND! any size plastic tape dispensers and cores. An example is a 3M plastic disposable tape dispenser.
