The lending professionals that you will be involved with are your:
1. Loan Officer
2. Loan Processor
The Loan Officer is the consultant whom you will make application with. They will analyze your situation and present several lending options. You will discuss down payment, closing costs estimates, interest rates, etc. You will discuss your personal financial status and other factors that may affect your loan. Lending “do’s and don’ts” will be discussed. The loan officer is responsible for overseeing the loan process from beginning to end. After your initial application and credit check you will receive a “pre-approval” letter that you may give to your real estate agent to be presented with your purchase offers.
Loan Processor – Once you have completed the loan application the Loan Processor gathers and organizes all the documentation for your home loan to be approved. Info is gathered from you and from outside vendors involved in the loan process such as appraisers, credit reporting agencies, title & escrow, etc. During the loan process, you will be speaking with the loan processor and providing items to complete the loan file
